Singam II is a 2013 Tamil(and telugu) action-masala written and directed by Hari. A sequel to the successful 2010 Singam, the stars Suriya who reprises his title role along with Anushka Shetty, Hansika Motwani, Vivek and Santhanam in supporting roles. Produced by S. Lakshman Kumar, it has music and background score by Devi Sri Prasad. The was relsed on 5 July 2013 along with a Telugu dubbed version titled Yamudu II to mixed reviews. A Hindi version entitled Main Hoon Surya Singham II relsed later on 2 August. Upon relse, the was a huge commercial success. The final worldwide gross was reported to be 230 crore (US$35 million), thereby making it the one of the highest grossing Tamil s of all time
