How to fix browser integration problem in idm?

How to reintegrate extension:


Is your idm not picking downloads from your chrome then follow this instructions to reintegrate it to your browser..

Steps:

First check whether if your browser is added in idm or not.


If this is setting is checked then continue to below steps.

1. First open your chrome and go to settings. Then navigate to 'extensions' in 'settings'.


In extensions check whether idm integration is enabled or not. If its not enabled plse click to enable.


2.Now restart your browser.

3.Now idm should work.

If you do not find any idm extension in chrome don't panic,there is an alternate method to install idm extension into your browser.

4. Now go to the directory 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Download Manager' or the directory in which idm is installed. Srch for the file 'IDMGCExt.crx' or the file with 'crx' extension as crx is chrome's add-on format.


5.Go to the extensions window as said in step 1. Now drag and drop the .crx file.


It asks for permission to install and when it installs idm extension starts to work. That's all your idm should pick downloads from your favorite chrome browser.
