About the gameIn Candy Crush Saga, the player must score points by matching game pieces (stylized as candy) of the same kind horizontally or vertically, by swapping adjacent pieces. Pieces can exist in seven candy variations, distinguished by color and shape, in addition to several types of special pieces. Special pieces can be crted by matching more than three adjacent pieces in a single move, and erally have the ability to clr a larger of pieces when matched. The effects of special pieces can be combined together by swapping two special pieces.
The level selection screen is displayed as a map, and is divided into several ars. To proceed to the next ar, the player must clr all levels in the previous ar, and fulfill an additional requirement, such as getting a of other players to help them complete a task. Levels vary in goals and restrictions – for example, some levels many require completion in a set amount of time, and some levels require completion in a fixed of moves. The player can rn in-game currency, and spend it on power-ups, which can be used to the player’s advantage.
Candy Candy Saga is a match-3 puzzle game (Shariki clone), and uses the same base mechanics as the popular Bejeweled series. It was initially relsed in April 2012 on Facebook, then later relsed as a smartphone app in November 2012.
